As the year comes to a close, December has arrived at the Keepsake Floral studio here in the heart of Maitland, Florida. Despite the 80 degree weather, the girls at Keepsake are fully in the holiday spirit– sipping hot cocoa, wrapped in our favorite cozy sweaters, and filling the studio with a cheerful energy.

Whether you’re preparing for holiday weddings, final events of the year, or simply looking ahead to 2026, we’re so grateful to share this moment with you.

Behind the Scenes This Month

December is always a magical time in the studio. This week, one of our designers brought in a tiny twinkling tree for the flower prep table, and the whole room felt like a little holiday workshop.

We’ve been wrapping up some of the most sentimental keepsakes of the year. One of our designers has been perfecting a new shadowbox layout inspired by winter whites, pressed greenery, and soft gold accents.

We’ve also been playing around with the addition of preserved berries to our keepsakes to add some fresh color and texture to our winter-inspired designs.

This month has also brought some truly heart-melting moments, like the groom who visited our studio to carefully plan a keepsake design as a special winter gift for his bride. Moments like these keep our hearts warm, even on the busiest of days.

Why Floral Preservation Matters (Especially Now!)

One of the most frequently-asked questions we get is: ”
My wedding was weeks ago and my flowers are starting to wilt! Is it too late to preserve them?”

The answer? It’s never too late! 

We can help even if:

• The flowers have already dried
• They didn’t know preservation was an option
